Who Are Our Members?

Our members are Colorado-based businesses, organizations and individuals who are committed to building a reslient local economy. To qualify for membership, your business must be headquartered in Colorado and not owned by a non-Colorado company.

MHBA members include farms, retailers, wholesale disributors, professionals, health care providers, restaurants and small scale manufacturers. They employ anywhere from one to 200 people and recognize that when we work together, we are more successful.

Why Join MHBA?

The purpose of our work is quite simple: We build relationships between business and community. We believe that business does not occur in isolation, but is built on solid relationships with people we can trust. And we know that when our local businesses are successful, our communities are healthier and more resilient. So while you're working on the day-to-day aspects of running a business, we provide support to our members in the following domains:

1. We increase community prosperity and support local businesses through marketing and promotion as well as trainings, workshops, networking, events, other programs to build our local economic capacity. 
2. We create awareness of the importance of supporting local businesses. Our Colorado Local First marketing campaigns, neighborhood Local Flavor Guides and local business directory strengthen the connections between independent businesses and community members, creating a sustainable economy.
3. We provide a voice for small businesses to influence the governmental issues that affect them directly by advocating for policies at the local, state, and national level. We partner with many key community organizations to maximize our ability to represent all members of our local economy.

As a business member of the Mile High Business Alliance, you receive cost-effective promotion for your business, discounts in our workshops and events, and opportunities to connect with neighbors and other business owners. Take a look at our programs to learn more about our various activites.

Membership Costs

We're committed to including as many local businesses as possible in our programs and campaigns. To that end, our basic membership fee is just $24.50 per month for any qualifying business. Additional programs (such as videos, Buy Local Week, and Local Flavor Guides) provide additional opportunities to promote your business for a flat fee. Additional fees apply for businesses with multiple locations. (contact us with questions)
