Kismet was opened in May 2006 in the Highlands when owner Shana Colbin Dunn decided she wanted to challenge herself.

She has discovered that owning her own business creates freedom, inspires creativity, and allows her to meet wonderful people along the way. What makes her happy every day at work are the people she works with and the customers she gets to serve.

Shana thinks that Kismet represents the best in her--the part she always wants to be yet (she says) "I'm only human, right?" It's a happy, peaceful, beautiful yet imperfect store.
