Colorado Enterprise Fund: Offering small businesses more than financing


 
The state of small business in strong in Colorado and much of this momentum is due to recent growth of small business, which accounts for 96% of all businesses in the state. For nonprofit lenders like Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF), this trend is good news since strong small business growth produces strong, economically-diverse communities where more jobs are created and retained, and prosperity is a reality for more people.
 

Crowdfunding bill passes Legislature, now heads to governor for signature


DENVER - The Colorado General Assembly passed a bill Monday that expands the pool of potential investors in private startup companies.

HB 15-1246 was sponsored by Representatives Pete Lee and Dan Pabon and had bipartisan support, according to Karl Dakin, director of Colorado Capital Congress, which supported the bill.

The bill, which had already passed the House, was approved by the Senate Monday and will now go to Gov. John Hickenlooper for his signature to become law.

The purpose of this Solicitation is to provide qualified vendors with sufficient information regarding the City's needs in order to adequately prepare and submit a Proposal for agricultural production of City of Arvada owned land located at 7000 Garrison Street, Arvada Colorado 80004. This agricultural land is north of Majestic View Nature Center and Community Park which is a place to learn about, understand, and appreciate the area's natural features and cultural history by interacting directly with nature.
