Local Biz Leads Group - Formation Meeting
The MHBA Leads Group will focus on building member businesses through leads and referrals in a positive, cooperative, working environment. If you are interested in helping other MHBA members to grow their business, and in turn having great people out there generating leads for you, then please join us for this initial meeting. Business is built on relationship and this group will provide members the opportunity to really get to know one another so you can confidently refer leads to member businesses.
***Please note, this event is for MHBA members only.
At this initiial meeting, we will make decisions on the format & frequency of the meetings as well as decide on whether or not to maintain industry exclusivity within the group.
Sofia Aguilar from A1 Security has stepped up to the plate and is going to help get this group going. She has a lot of experience with various leads groups and comes equipped with some great ideas about what does and doesn't work.
Please RSVP by Feb. 17th so we can ensure that we have adequate space, etc. And please review the agenda before the meeting (see below) and come prepared to create a great group!
Please contact Melanie Horton if you have any questions or can't make this meeting but want to be involved.
9:00 – 9:15 Sign in & Open Networking
9:15 – 10:00 Introductions: Name, Company name, One minute commercial about your business, & Reason you joined the Mile High Business Alliance.
Followed by Three things you hope to get out of the leads group and Three things you can contribute to the leads group.
10:00 – 10:45 Open discussion on leads group format. How do we want the structure to be?
Example: Sign in, & open networking, then one minute commercials, then guest introductions, then lead sharing, or guest speakers, or members take turns giving a demonstration or short lecture on their services,.
Some quesitons to consider: Do we want to limit membership to 1 company per business category? Is there a requirement to bring a lead or to attend a set number of meetings per 6 month period or that category becomes open to others? Do we bring a potential customer to our meetings to meet others? What is the operating structure? Are there dues and officers? How are these decided upon? How often should we meet?
10:45- 11:00 wrap up.
Reiterate the decisions we have made or elect officers to make decisions and present them at the next meeting. Decide the time date and location of the next meeting and the format or agenda, thank everyone for coming and wrap it up.
